Braille Notetakers

Portable devices equipped with a Braille keyboard that enables users to take notes, read documents, and perform various tasks without the need for a computer.

Refreshable Braille Displays

These devices provide tactile feedback by raising and lowering small pins to form Braille characters. They can be connected to computers or mobile devices, allowing users to read digital content in Braille.

Voice Assistants

Smartphone accessibility on both iOS and Android platforms offers a range of features for the visually impaired, including screen readers, magnification gestures, and voice command functionalities.

AI-Powered Visual Recognition

Cam MyEye: A device that attaches to glasses, utilising AI-powered visual recognition to read text, recognize faces, and identify products. It provides real-time audio feedback to the user.

Wearable Devices

Sunu Band: A wrist-worn device using sonar technology to detect objects and obstacles, providing haptic feedback to the user through vibrations.

Tactile Graphics

Tactile Graphics: Utilising 3D printing technology to create tactile maps and graphics, enabling visually impaired individuals to explore and understand spatial information through touch.

Amit Chawla

A Beacon of Perseverance
Amit Chawla, born with 100% visual impairment, stands tall as a symbol of perseverance. Supported by our organisation he not only completed his BA and Masters in Arts but also successfully cleared the PNB Clerical Competitive open exam. Currently serving as a Clerk at Punjab National Bank, Ambala City, he performs to the best of his ability. Amit’s passion for singing and cricket reflects his indomitable spirit , his journey inspires those around him.

Harmonising Success
Rohit Shah is visually impaired and is supported by our foundation ,he pursued his education with aid for tuition and hostel fees. He is now an Executive at IDBI bank, Chandigarh. Rohit’s passion involves playing the Harmonium amazingly , not only this but also active participation in the “Association of Blind” activities reflects his commitment to both personal and community growth. We wish Rohit continuous success in his harmonious journey.

Navigating the Path of Education
Manohar Lal, 100% visually impaired, embarked on the journey of education with support for tuition and hostel fees. Currently in the final year of his BA, Manohar is a chess enthusiast. Despite his visual challenges, he stands as a testament to the power of determination and education. We extend our best wishes to Manohar Lal in his pursuit of knowledge.

Harish Kumar Pandey

Harish Kumar Pandey, 100% visually impaired since 2013, found a sponsor with our organisation . Harish received support for his BA degree and MA , proving life extends far beyond physical sight. He is currently preparing for the SBI Clerical Competitive Test and serves as the President of the Blind Persons Association, Chandigarh . His passion goes beyond academics, resonating in the cricket field as an all-rounder Cricketer .

Asha Rani

Asha Rani, who has been facing 100% visual impairment since 2013, found her way to self-employment with our foundation . Operating a footpath shop , selling toys near Shastri Market Gate, she also contributes to the Chandigarh Chapter of the Blind Persons Association. Monthly support since January 2023 aids in her household needs. Asha, is a married woman and a talented Cricketer & singer . She also is preparing for the SBI Clerical Competitive Test .

Mahipal

Mahipal, dealing with 100% visual impairment, also got support from us during his college days at PGGC Chandigarh. Unemployed but resilient, he is currently preparing for the SBI Clerical Competitive Test. His journey is a testament to the power of determination . With a passion for vocal singing we help guiding his path through life to brighten his future .

Neerab Gupta

Neerab Gupta has faced a 100% visual impairment from the age of 12, with support coming straight from the heart foundation . His educational journey includes pursuing a PhD from Delhi School of Economics, a Masters in Social work and Rural Development, and a BA from St Stephen College. Currently, he serves as an Asst. Manager CSR, Community Development Officer at M/s Coal India Ltd. Married with a one-year-old son, Neerab is a multifaceted individual, engaging in poetry and short story writing, education, and welfare pursuits.
